General
I suggest bringing your puppy in when he / she is around 8 weeks or older after their vaccinations. The right introduction to grooming is essential in aiding your puppy's future behaviour as well as their happiness with the grooming process.
I take time in getting to know my pet-clients to help them feel secure, confident and comfortable with their routine visits.

This varies by breed; taking into consideration their daily lives and playtime. Generally, your pet-buddy should come every 2 - 8 weeks depending on the style and length of hair you have chosen for your pet.
You may need to bring them in sooner if notice and signs of matting, visible uncleanliness or they just flat out smell!

I recommend that you come every 4 weeks if your dogs does not get natural filing from hiking / walking on course surfaces.
With natural filing you may only need a trim every 6-8 weeks.
